Technique
Parenting, shape keys and Geometry Nodes - each object built to deform and move cleanly. The technical setup runs underneath so the animation can breathe on top.
Timing
The hard part wasn't moving objects - it was making 8 of them feel like one thing. Every easing curve tuned manually until the whole sequence locked into place.
